it’s FINALLY feeling like spring!! the sun has been shining (in between rainy days of course) and I’ve been able to get out of the house and enjoy that sunshine!

outfit 1 .. baby blueΒ
the moment I saw this dress, I HAD to have it! I just adore the ruffle hem and sleeve and the fact that the tie waist can go above my bump now and cinch in post pregnancy is AMAZING!Β

I kept this look pretty simple, using neutrals as accents and playing with the blue tones in the backdrop. I used my straw tote (to keep things light and airy) and added a little scarf for detail. I’m loving these wedges too! when I’m pregnant (especially) I do what I can to feel taller – so a knee length dress and wedges are a great combo!

it’s no secret I’m a fan of peplum tops, I’ve talked about them SO much here on my blog and I know if you’ve been around Stripes in Bloom for any length of time –Β you’re used to seeing me wear them! this particular top from My Sister’s Closet has the prettiest animal print detail and the ruffle on the sleeve and neck are just so feminine!Β
I have actually worn this blouse over 4 times in the last two weeks! it’s so comfortable and I instantly feel dressed up and pretty while wearing it.Β
I styled this blouse with a few pops of color in my jacket and bag, classic denim and went for another animal print in my shoe. I love how everything is neutral with pops of coral. and I think I’ll be mixing animal prints together more often – I love how it turned out in this outfit!Β
