USA tee and boyfriend shorts
a USA tee, (similar here) and boyfriend shorts sound about right for what I’ll be wearing this year for the 4th of July!
I know a lot of cities aren’t doing their ‘typical’ celebrations this year so we’ll be home – probably do a small bbq and play in the pool, Nash got a corn hole game for Father’s Day and we LOVE playing that too! I’m making rice crispy treats with red, white and blue sprinkles inside – I think the girls will really be excited about it.
do you have any 4th of July traditions or special treats you make?
these pictures we took in Corinne Utah and we found a white shed/ building, there was a tall ledge and Nash lifted me up so I could sit on it (I actually stood too but those pictures weren’t very graceful looking lol you could literally SEE my nervousness) so I decided to post only the sitting ones.
I’m actually SO scared of heights! but you do what you gotta do for the photo right?! lol
this black and white image I recreated from a picture I found on Pinterest. I often do that, I save a picture as a reference or idea that I take inspiration from. follow along on Pinterest for more!
I always end up making the photo my own, but it’s nice to have an idea to go off of – it’s also great for husband (my photographer) so he can get an idea of the vision that I have for that particular photo or entire shoot.
Navi looks so grown up in these pictures. she’s so dang cute and I can’t believe she’ll be FIVE in just a couple months! like HOW do I have a five year old?! lol
she also chose her outfit for our 4th of July shoot and while it’s been on the chillier side of things the past couple days, I thiiiink a long sleeve might be too toasty for the day of – but once night rolls around and we’re doing s’mores I think she’d be able to wear this cute little long sleeve dress again!

it was the funniest thing, but as we were driving we came upon this HUGE tire place and so even though it was CRAZY windy out we pulled over and snapped a few pictures.
I just kept thinking of funny puns like ‘2020 I’m tire-d of you’ but really tho!
this year has been WILD and I’m just not so sure if I can take much more craziness! it’s been a year of GROWTH of discomfort, of change, of realization. 2020 has been a year of being shaken up. we can’t coast. we have to do things for ourselves. as hard as things are. I’m grateful for the time I’ve had with my family. I’m so grateful for good health and safety.
what have you learned from 2020 so far?
my USA tee and boyfriend shorts are old but I’ll link similar pieces below …
thank you for stopping by! today was full of random thoughts, but I just want to say that if you’re reading. it truly means THE WORLD. thank you!
thank you! thank you! thank you! I appreciate your support more than you know!
