THE TIMELESS WARDROBE STAPLE YOU NEED FOR FALL

technically this entire look is full of great closet staples and wardrobe basics – good fitting dark denim, a classic white button down but the star here is this gorgeous gray hat from Gigi Pip!

I’ve always been a hat girl – baseball caps, summer straw hats, fedoras, newsboy caps .. you name it I’ve tried it – I keep coming back to Gigi Pip because of their insane quality. I have a couple other hats and Gigi Pip quality is unmatched! this specific design was a collaboration between blogger Cara Loren and Gigi Pip and the gray is the perfect neutral.

Gigi Pip is women owned and founded and I also appreciate that they’re from Utah! Ginger, the founder has beautiful ideas and I love the vibe and feelings that Gigi Pip evoke. they’re all about confidence – finding out who you are – embracing ‘her’ and becoming your best self — in ALL the hats we wear as women.

as a business owner, a mom of 4, a wife, a sister, a friend and daughter, a teacher, an aspiring designer .. I mean the list goes on and on with the roles I play in and out of the home and I’m learning to love myself through all the feelings on inadequacy, the questioning, the failed attempts, the getting back up and trying harder. I’ve had a rough year to say the least lol and I feel it’s been sort of self inflicted. I’ve doubted myself a lot and I’m seeing that I need to make a conscious effort into loving who I am and being kinder to myself. anyone in my same boat on that???

less judgement, more grace and love towards myself AND others. we’re all (for the most part) just trying our best, doing what we can and we all have things we’re going through 🙂

so while a cute hat might not solve all our problems, it definitely helps with overgrown roots or those days you when dry shampoo just won’t cut it lol
