EASY AND AFFORDABLE EASTER BASKET IDEAS
here are some easy and affordable easter basket ideas for kids – I typically do some kind of a ‘formula’ to fill the baskets and I’m sharing that below
Easter baskets don’t have to include a million toys or cost a lot of money to be fun and exciting for your kids – I personally try not to go over board with them and to pick things that we genuinely need
functional baskets
we’ll reuse these cute baskets to organize in the girls’ closets – when choosing a basket I look for quality and great shapes (we actually don’t buy new baskets year after year either)
dollar store finds
playdoh, candy, small toys, Easter eggs – there are so many fun and cute things you can find for way less when you shop at the dollar store
outside activity
I like including some outside toys or gifts – we did a flower seed packet this year (so excited for our new yard) but you could do gardening tools, bubbles, chalk, watering can, pool toys
craft
my girls love being creative and we needed some new watercolor paints – you could do markers, crayons, a new coloring book or sticker book, a journal, bracelet beads
books
I ordered quite a few books from amazon this year but even the $ stores have fun books
outfits
I’m a little slow this year actually – we are days away and I don’t have any Easter dresses for anyone – typically I’m weeks ahead in sharing but 4 kids has kept me busy lol and I feel I’m losing my mind most days (another reason for the easy and affordable Easter basket ideas)
thank you for stopping by and checking out my tips for easy and cute easter basket ideas – let me know in the comments what you like putting in your kids’ baskets!
