textured sweater + my favorite sherpa jacket
texture is a big deal for me and itβs one of the easiest ways to bring interest to an outfit. my look today features a few textures and Iβm really into it. (Iβm really picky, and I like soft, not scratchy fabrics β but then again, I think thatβs most people too) haha!

my mom actually saw me try it on in store and instantly bought it too. she showed up to my house last week wearing it with green pants β¦ so of course I wore my sweater with green pants. (we take style tips from each other, she also owns this pink coat and gave me mine for Christmas .. I love that we have such similar taste in clothes!)
story time β¦
I actually first saw this jacket on my mother in law on Christmas Eve, we had gotten together and I asked her where it was from, she couldnβt remember but said it was from a new boutique shop in the mall. I didnβt know at the time which store it couldβve been from .. fast forward a few hours and I am now home with my sister and realize she has the same jacket. I told her how Vicki was wearing it and asked where it was from. Kenzie (my sister) said it was from Roolee and that she got it on a black friday sale for only $20! AHH what a deal! I was a little bummed because I had seen it on a different site for $80!
the next day is Christmas and my mom and sister, dad and brother come over to our house and I see that my mom is wearing the jacket too! she had received it as a gift! I was starting to feel jealous and that I needed it in my life. as I unwrap a present from my mom β¦ it was the jacket! they totally knew Iβd love it and it has become a very favorite treasure for me. itβs been so fun that we all own the same one.
is there anyone in your life that you admire their style? Iβm trying to get my mom to do some posts with me and so weβll see if sheβs up for it this year.
so not only is the textured sweater fun, but so is my coat! (found very similar here) I love the faux fur shearling texture. like I mentioned, this jacket was a gift but Iβll link similar options because shearling is such a popular thing right now.
