4th of July outfit inspiration (part 2)
I’ve got outfits 4, 5 and 6 from my 4th of July outfit inspiration looks for you today! if you missed yesterday’s post, read it here and check out my first 3 of 12 outfits in this mini series!
thank you for the love and great response to this series! I’m having a blast with it and have rekindled some love for a few of the things in my closet that I was honestly getting bored of lol oops! sometimes all it takes is pairing a piece of clothing in a new way to fall in love all over again!
look 4 braids + denim skirt
switching things up and wearing double braids in this look. I LOVE it. something really takes me back seeing my hair like this. I typically wear it like this at night and take them out in the morning when I want a beach wave look, but wearing them around is so fun too!
this hairstyle would be perfect for a day on the boat, or at the pool. which c’mon it’s summer and days get HOT! so hair off my neck and out of my face sounds amazing!

I love the stripes with the denim skirt, it’s casual but flirty at the same time.
the little flags were the perfect touch and can we talk about these hoops – hoops, braids and red lipstick .. what more could you want?!
look 5 white eyelet + blue pants
it’s not often I wear a red lipstick, but when I do – I feel SO SASSY. does anyone else get that little boost of confidence with a bold lip?! my lipstick is on sale for $4.99!
I loved taking pictures at these roses, would you believe they’re in a parking lot of a dentist office? haha, I’m taking risks and having fun taking pictures in places that may not seem as glamorous! and I love these photos so much, you may just see them in their own blogpost because I do what I want lol

I’m obsessed with the paperbag waist on these pants! they’re totally cute paired with a feminine top!
look 6 white dress + denim
my sister and I had the best time shooting at the poppy fields in Mantua, Utah. this year the fields were crowded and it was so sad to see some of the flowers had been stepped on. we stayed on the trails and could still get some really beautiful photos! I love their bright red coloring and they popped against my bright white dress!

you can never go wrong with a classic combo like white and denim. I love the fit of this dress, here is this year’s version!
the thing is, I find my wardrobe to be full of whites, blues and reds .. call me Mrs. America lol but really .. these colors just speak to me and I find they’re really classic! I hope you’ve had fun seeing a few more outfits in my 4th of July outfit inspiration series!
be sure to read yesterday’s post AND I’ve got more looks coming next week!
thanks so much for stopping by! which look is your favorite from today’s post?
