TOP 5 PREGNANCY MUST HAVES RIGHT NOW + 20 WEEK UPDATE

I’m feeling like this pregnancy is just going to fly by – with summer approaching especially the days will be full of fun and I think that first week of August will be here in no time. if you’ve been pregnant in the summer, do you think it went by quick?? I’m sharing my top 5 pregnancy must haves right now + 20 week update on this bump of mine. I just can’t believe I’m halfway!

I had an ultrasound earlier this week and baby is looking healthy, we don’t know the gender and are pretty set on not finding out until birth – I think the surprise sounds so fun and so far the baby hasn’t wanted to show us whether it’s a girl or boy anyway – not even my Dr knows!

must have : stretch mark cream

the Mustela Stretch Marks Cream (fragrance free) has amazing ratings and I checked on the EWG app for safety and it is EWG certified! I have loved learning more about clean products and brands and was SO happy to have found this cream! I’ll link it here – I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks and I wish I would’ve bought it sooner – it’s great at keeping my skin moisturized and I don’t notice a scent at all

must have : self tanner

this might sound funny, but I feel more confident with a bit of a tan so I decided to look for a clean and safe self tanning lotion. the Beauty by Earth self tanner has been recommended by friends and again, I looked on the EWG app and it’s given a rating of 1! (if you aren’t familiar the lower the number, the cleaner the product – ratings go up to 10) I’ve used this tanner twice now and it’s gorgeous – a little goes a long way and the color looks so pretty. this is a perfect self tanner whether you’re pregnant or not.

must have : flowy / peplum tops

I’m in the stage of pregnancy where I don’t have quite a full blown bump, so trying to disguise it I wear flowy or peplum style tops. I have quite a few that I’ve saved over the years from previous pregnancies – I don’t love to shop a lot for new things but I do like having a variety. if I can find a good enough deal and if I can wear the clothes post pregnancy too then I usually can justify buying something new.

ps – flowy / peplum tops are great for post pregnancy too!

must have : maternity jeans

if you haven’t already invested in maternity jeans – do it. I didn’t buy any until my third baby and I honestly don’t know how I did it because I have been wearing maternity jeans this pregnancy since like week 12. my bump has been so sensitive to tight things and so most days I’m in low rise sweat pants lol. but if I’m going out and want to look cute I’ll wear a pair of maternity denim. there are such a variety of fits (belly bands over the bump, side panels, front panels)

must have : comfy dresses

am I halfway or like 35 weeks?? lol I feel like such a whiner but this pregnancy has been so hard – I don’t know why but everything has just kicked in so much faster for me. the nausea has lasted longer, the heart burn is real, the sensitivity to scents, I’m SO tired and achy, my temper is quick to flare – I’m the moodiest ever so I am ALL about comfy! dresses are so perfect because I have nothing on my waistline – if I’m not in sweat pants, you can find me in a dress around the house. and I actually feel cute which is a bonus too!

thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed checking out my top 5 pregnancy must haves right now + 20 week update!
