I decided on this day that I really wanted to try something new with my makeup so I did PINK eyeshadow! how crazy fun is that?! 😉 I really liked it actually and will probably be branching out a lot more this year in how daring I am in my makeup looks. 

and I’ve got to be totally honest, I haven’t been getting all dolled up lately, last week was a rough one and I barely took any pictures for my blog, I didn’t even really post on instagram. I was having a bad attitude about everything – I’m blaming it on ‘lady hormones’ 😉 but now that I’m past that I’m trying to enjoy myself and change my attitude. 

I’m majorly obsessing over this high neck top with my suede moto jacket, something about this with the dark nude lip and hoop earrings is giving me all the best vibes. it reminds me a bit of ‘friends’ in the best way. I really love that the 90’s early 00’s styles are totally popular. 

ballet flats and high pony tails are an easy way to look chic and adorable. especially when you don’t want to put in a TON of effort into your look. these floral flats are beautiful and I’m shocked I haven’t worn them as much as I thought that I would. now that it’s not so snowy on the ground, I’m going to make it a point to wear them more. 🙂 they’re such a fun way to add a pattern or a pop of color.

the sad news is Nash has started his semester at school this week, but the good news is this is his last semester before he graduates with his Associate’s degree! so woot!! we are excited about that!


I’ve actually been debating going back to school, probably for graphic design or something where I can learn to build websites – anyone know of online courses where I could learn about this???
