SETTING A VIBRANT SUMMER TABLE
when I think of bold, fun, and vibrant – my mind turns to MacKenzie-Childs. with their whimsical colors and classic black and white Courtly Check pattern, I know setting a vibrant summer table will be gorgeous yet effortless.
hereβs the table I put together featuring the MacKenzie-Childs Courtly Check and Flower Market designs for a dinner with friends.
the focus is on these stunning Courtly Check pieces and I accented with the Flower Market collection to bring in a touch of color and print. the bold reds and blues in the floral are gorgeous and the colors are so rich for summer (theyβre perfect even going into fall!)
the petal scalloped edge on the salad plates are one of my favorite small details. itβs pretty and feminine while keeping classic and timeless.
the green glasses and stunning pitcher could not be any more perfect here – they make having a lemonade that much sweeter!
it was so fun having friends over to enjoy dinner with. not pictured are the cloth napkins we used and while we couldβve used paper plates, it just isnβt the same. it is a special treat to have meals on beautiful plates and Iβm reminding myself that there is beauty in simple things. like, eating a summer dinner at the table and THAT is worth celebrating.
summer dinners are some of my very favorites, homemade hamburgers, fresh corn on the cob and juicy watermelon just hit the spot donβt they??
I love how the colors of the watermelon and corn pop against the black and white. the contrast is vibrant and feels so fresh and full of life.
using the pretty plates, using the glass cups, using a floral centerpiece (using the versatile utensil holder) β¦ my family on any given day can have a great time together and because I find joy in hosting and decorating, using pretty dining and serving ware is a βromanticizing my life momentβ.
how are you making memories??
