the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 is right around the corner! the best news is that this year (2020) the #NSale has ALL the products in preview mode and you can add them to your online wishlist through Nordstrom.com starting NOW!
SHOPPING DATES
the long anticipated Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 begins officially August 19th BUT if you’re a Nordstrom card holder you can shop the sale even earlier! here are the shop early dates for various levels
Icons – August 4th
Ambassadors – August 7th
Influencers – August 10th
Insiders – August 13th
WHAT IS THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE?
what’s amazing about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is that the items are BRAND NEW and upcoming for the fall/winter seasons .. buying them now you get the deals because after August 30th – prices go back up!

SHOPPING TIPS
here’s where we get a REALLY good look at what will be in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – I get HYPED about this guys. like REALLY excited lol and it definitely is best to remember that you don’t ‘need it all’. nobody needs everything .. which brings me to these tips –
MAKE A LIST – I take a look at my closet and think something like .. ‘I don’t own any white booties yet and I think I’d get great use out of them’ so white booties go on the list!
TAKE INVENTORY – look in your wardrobe and think about what you ALREADY have and what you’d like to add to your closet this season. do you already own 3 black cardigans? or 4 plaid tops? or leopard mules? then you probably don’t need to buy those items again.
DON’T GET IN DEBT – not worth it, there will always be cute clothes and you aren’t missing out by not buying everything. get what you LOVE/ what your budget allows.
SET A BUDGET – setting a budget before hand helps keep you in check because it’s definitely not worth overspending.
WHAT’S ON SALE?
lol pretty much everything – beauty, home decor, men’s stuff, kid’s stuff, jewelry .. the list goes on! the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is great for those special items you’ve been waiting to be on sale (I splurge on shoes and usually grab a couple cardigans)

I divided a lot of the items into smaller more defined categories so it’s easier to shop. my favorite category EVER at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the shoe category.

here are a bunch of the booties I have my eye on .. Marc Fisher, Dolce Vita, Sam Edelman and Steve Madden are always popular and trusted brands for footwear

CARDIGANS
cardigans are one of my favorite layering pieces for fall and winter and even into spring. I love the versatility of wearing a cardigan and am excited about the cute and classic styles this year in the sale. last year a stripe Madewell cardigan sold out really fast, so I’m hoping to grab this cute one this time around

the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is a GREAT time to grab a new outerwear piece. I love that they’re new for the season and whether you opt for something classic or more on trend you’ll find a fabulous, quality coat for a bargain! I found a Barbour jacket a few seasons ago at the #Nsale and it’s been a favorite ever since!

*this cardigan I own from a few years back (the version is a bit different, but same brand/similar color) and it’s amazingly soft. definitely a must have!
*I bought a pair of leopard mules years ago too during the #NSale and they’re my most worn mules I own – so comfy and I love the pop of leopard
*faux leather leggings (less than $30!) are always a popular choice for fashion bloggers to showcase and style in the fall and winter months
*matching sweat sets (sweatshirt, pants) are really popular right now, this sweater sold out last year SO fast, and this striped cardigan looks SO cute and is more affordable than similar brands I’ve seen.
*a pair of white booties is on my wishlist and these are gorgeous – I love this brand and since these come in more colors – I know this will be a popular choice

if there’s one thing I get hyped over it’s the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I don’t know why I love it so much but I do lol. and with everything going on a little retail therapy sounds good haha!
but really remember with this sale – you don’t need it all. I’m really going to limit my purchasing this season and focus on what I would actually get the most use out of / instead of what’s trendy or what I’m seeing others buy/wear.
