I love a good layering piece and a trench coat is a beautiful jacket for any season. I love how timeless and chic they are. I obsess over how classic yet right on trend trench coats are this season.

this is an outfit you’d find me in on any typical spring day. I love wearing color so a pale green top, a blue bag and a pop of pink in my shoes and earrings is completely normal and super spring-like!

the key to wearing SO many colors together is that they’re all in the same tone. not any one of them is more vibrant than the other. each color is muted and subtle. the blue bag (here in green) being the most bold and noticed.

I’m a big fan of this purple top and this yellow blouse

styling the pastels with dark dray denim and a stone colored trench have also grounded the outfit allowing for the possibility of color to be accented with.

these gorgeous spring blossoms are already gone in our neighborhood and I’m so sad about it. they were so beautiful. I’m so bummed that they didn’t last longer.

it is a reminder of many things …

– we can find beauty in small moments

– time passes by too quickly and we’ve got to make the most of each day

– take advantage of opportunities, you don’t know if you’ll miss your chance
