louis vuitton + getting that designer look for less
I haven’t shown much of my Louis Vuitton bag on my blog or my instagram and honestly it’s because I’ve hardly used it. I bought it as a fun treat for myself and for New York Fashion Week in September, but because I’m a mom of two little ones .. my life is carried in a diaper bag. lol
so when I do get the chance to carry an actual bag – I try and reach for my Louis Vuitton, because believe me .. I did not spend all that money for it to just sit on a shelf! my husband would hate me if I didn’t use it haha!
dressing for winter is so weird in Utah. sometimes is SO snowy and other days all you need is a light jacket. either way I’m loving this lightweight tweed ‘coatigan’ that I also wore in this post here. it’s such a great neutral, yet it adds so much because of the detail and subtle texture.
it’s been said by many bloggers before .. but if you want to look expensive and chic, their best tip is to wear neutrals, or pieces with texture. a fun thing too is if you do have designer bags – to style them with clothing from stores like Target or Forever 21 – you’re instantly elevated! there’s something about nice bags and shoes that really pull your look together. but you don’t need ‘designer’ to look fabulous.
I’ve found a few bags I’ve linked below that are gorgeous and don’t cost a fortune – so you can elevate your look without breaking anyone’s bank account! lol
thank you so much for stopping by! it’ll take me a minute to get used to this new WordPress update .. so I’m sorry if my post layout is a little awkward. change is NOT my friend and I struggle with even the littlest changes. lol like if an app on my phone is in the ‘wrong’ spot – oh boy! the world ends haha
you’re amazing and I hope you have a beautiful day! we will hopefully make sugar cookies for this weekend’s party! what’re you up to??
xo, Jensyn

Thanks Lauren! it’s the Croisette Damier Ebene Canvas bag
