easter basket ideas + egg hunt printable

here are some fun easter basket ideas + an egg hunt printable. it’s mostly fun for the kids, but if you’re looking for items for your own Easter basket – you could do similar things .. swimsuits, sunglasses, jewelry, makeup, books, etc.

I did a poll on instagram stories and a lot of you said that you use easter baskets as a way to get things for your kids for summer. sunglasses, sandals, pool/ beach toys and accessories. I’ve linked a few things that would be so fun for summer and since we’re practicing social distancing (and we’re not sure for how long) – I think we’re going to invest in a small pool for the yard!

there are a few things I’m wanting to add to my girls’ easter baskets like a new water bottle, sandals and an activity book of some kind.

these water bottles have been recommended by so many people on instagram and while they’re pricier I know they’ll be a good option.

I think it’s so adorable to get the girls’ pjs and I found some really cute ones online, they have the ribbed ones and they fit perfect! we love them! books are also something that is practical and fun. they’re into seek and find books recently so I linked a few below. bath soaps and lotions are also a good easter basket stuffer .. we love Tubby Todd products. they are amazing for our sensitive skin. I even use them!

these pjs come in a ton of colors, perfect for girls and boys.

it’s a tradition to get dressed up for easter Sunday in our home (it was that way growing up) and so I wanted to get the girls’ their own special dress (even if we will just be home) .. I’m sharing a few pretty dresses below.

we also got them matching swimsuits because WHY NOT?! they’re just too darling! I wish this print came in my size, the lemons are so trendy and fun!

we added in the Cuddle and Kind handmade dolls as a toy because they’re so beautiful and collectible. the lamb, the elephant, and the unicorn are too sweet and being the mini’s they are the perfect size for little hands.

I knew I wanted to use a backpack instead of a basket this year because my girls have become obsessed with carrying around their own stuff and these floral mini backpacks from Vera Bradley are PERFECT. I love the design and all the pockets make them so functional.

I own this bag and am obsessed with it! it’s incredible quality and the color is adorable!!

the finishing touch is a handmade rainbow. I love putting these around my house for a bit of sunshine and happiness! we didn’t really do any tiny toys or candy this year and I’m totally okay with it.

if you’re looking for small gift ideas .. you could do chalk, bubbles, crayons/markers, lipgloss, sunglasses .. we already have those things so I didn’t need to add them this year. but they all make great little gifts!

my girls are SO excited about going on an egg hunt. we’ve only ever done them at our own house so I’m not worried about it being too crazy but I have created a printable so you can host your own egg hunt indoors with your family.
