I wore this look Friday night on my date night with my cute husband. We have been just so busy and feeling like an outing would be the best thing for us, just to relax and get some time to enjoy each others’ company. 🙂 my parents watched our girls (Navi and Berlin 😉 and we headed out to dinner and bowling! if you saw my Instagram then you know I didn’t too hot 😉 but it was all in good fun. I used to be really competitive and sometimes was a sore loser 😉 but after marrying Nash (he’s so calm and happy all. the. time.) he has rubbed off on me (at least a little 😉 and I didn’t get too mad that he won both games and got a TON of strikes!)

I am feeling so ready for spring and all of the fun fashion that comes from the slightly warmer weather. I love the spring colors and especially this year where a blush pink is the pantone color of the year – we’ll see a bunch of pink options in stores!! I bought this blazer a while ago, probably like 3 years ago 😉 from Kohl’s and always debate keeping it around because it’s so pale but I liked it paired with a denim button up and a bolder scarf. (I love this years’ version here)

I have looked for these exact OTK boots in this burgundy color for a while and I can’t seem to find them. It’s driving me nuts 😉 because a lot of you have asked where I got them, but they’re sold out everywhere! if you ever see them pop up – let me know! (flat under $70 option here)

I’m a working momma so not a lot of days go by where I’m not in sweats and then change right into my work clothes, so it was fun to dress up a bit and get to wear something other than a tee shirt!

A great chambray top (love this one) is an easy, more put together styed top that can be as comfy as a tee shirt but isn’t as dressy as a blouse.
