boots or booties? two holiday looks with Söfft Shoes

shoes MAKE the outfit in my opinion. it’s amazing to me how swapping out the shoes and accessories has such an impact for how ONE outfit can look. today I’m teaming up with Söfft Shoes to share how I styled one outfit (sweater + jeans) in two ways, both which are perfect for the upcoming holidays!

the question is .. boots or booties???

you’ll notice I am wearing the same jeans, the same neutral sweater and the same hat + bag in both looks, all I did was swap the shoes and scarf. which outfit is your favorite?? and which holiday occasion would you wear each look?

I love the timeless looks of the boots I chose, but I also love that I’m on trend and with how well made the shoes are, I know I’ll be cherishing my Söfft shoes for seasons to come.

in the first look I chose a short bootie style and a patterned plaid scarf to accent with. I loved how the colors played well with each other, yet the whole look feels clean and really neutral. I’m super happy with how it came together and I’m literally in LOVE with these Söfft Shoes booties. they’re comfortable and add just enough height (the best block heel!) I wore them out to dinner the other night and they were perfect!

in the second look I went for a taller boot style and an oversized scarf, acting as a blanket or shall. this look would be fabulous for any holiday gathering! think Thanksgiving or casual Christmas parties!

I do really love the tall boot trend that is happening right now, for years it was all about the really tight, over the knee styles and now boots that hit at the knee are having a moment! I think they’re here to stay!

Tall boots are having a moment and how I’m surprised at how versatile they are, this style would be perfect paired with a long dress or skirt too (for a boho look).
