asos summer try on haul

sharing an ASOS summer try on haul today – I recently shopped online at ASOS and picked up a few things that I thought would be so cute for summer. I’ve been wanting to shop and treat myself to a few new pieces and I love ASOS for their on trend and (usually) affordable items. I had a couple of major misses and a few hits!

BOWIE TEE : HIT

I love a good band tee and this Bowie tee is so fun with the bright colors! it’s definitely oversized and would be cute with biker shorts (see this post for outfit inspiration)

FLORAL SKIRT : HIT

this skirt is stunning, I’m loving the colors for summer and can think of so many fun ways to wear this pleated floral skirt!

FLORAL TOP : HIT

probably my favorite item from this ASOS try on haul! I LOVE the colors and that the sleeves have a tiny ruffle! the fit is so good! I’m very happy with this cute floral top!

PINK TOP : HIT

this tee is adorable and I love the pink shade! the ruffle sleeves are right on trend and I’d love to add some cute embroidery around the neckline!

NEUTRAL JUMPSUIT : HIT

I’m surprised at how much I actually love neutral jumpsuit! it’s a linen type fabric and feels SO soft. it’s not itchy or scratchy. I love the color and how easy a jumpsuit can be for an instant, put together look!

PRINTED DRESS : MISS – NOT FLATTERING ON ME

the leopard print has a little bit of blue which was interesting, and the ruffles hit me at my widest points, it’s not my favorite fit of a dress. if you’re taller than 5’5 I bet it would be perfect on you though

WHITE KNIT TOP : MISS – TOO LOOSE

I’m OBSESSED with these incredible sleeves, I just think that the bodice section fit too loose on me. being a mama with littles, I know this neckline is too low for everyday wear and we all know I don’t go on date nights out these days lol

GINGHAM JUMPSUIT : MISS – INTERESTING FIT

the coral gingham is SO adorable! I just thought the bodice section and the legs fit me a little off

EYELET TOP : MISS – TOO SHEER

I’m still hunting for that perfect eyelet white blouse, this one is cute but was a bit too sheer for what I am wanting

PINK PEPLUM : MISS – TOO TIGHT

the color of this top is seriously so pretty! I LOVE adding pink into my wardrobe when I can, I just didn’t love that this top was so stiff and the sleeves and bodice were very tight
