a pregnancy and breastfeeding friendly wardrobe
I’m in the stage of life where I’ve created a pregnancy and breastfeeding friendly wardrobe. and I can’t believe I haven’t had my bump for a week now! it’s so weird not dressing my belly, BUT I am having to get creative with my breastfeeding friendly clothing so I thought I’d share some things I’ve got my eye on. all these items are NON maternity but would totally work if you size up or if you are breastfeeding too! I don’t love spending money on maternity items unless I know I’ll get a ton of use out of them like denim and leggings.
I love getting the most use out of things in my wardrobe, so if I can wear something pregnant and postpartum then that’s a WIN!
this pretty dress I got at Journey Five recently and was SO pleasantly surprised that I could fit into it with my belly as big as it was. I literally gave birth to Laci the day after these pictures were taken. so how’s that?! lol
dressing my bump, I always look for waist bands that are stretchy that hit right under the bust line. I also love fabrics that are lightweight because you can layer up in the winter and feel comfortable in the warmer months.
I love bold color and patterns, they make a statement without being TOO busy or like you’re trying too hard. I also like dresses for comfort and ease of wearability. I look like I put more effort into my look than I did. dresses or skirts instantly elevate your outfit but I actually love them for being comfy and they allow my body to breathe! who else feels restricted in pants?! lol
here are a few things I’m loving lately …
the dresses I found are really similar to the one I’m wearing in today’s post and I think I definitely need this dress and this top and this striped one!
my absolute favorite necklaces linked here (choker) and here (mama disc)

I’m totally new to breastfeeding this time around, with my first two girls I only was able to breastfeed for the first few months. I’m hopeful I’ll be able to make it work longer for Laci, so be prepared for more breastfeeding friendly pieces coming to the blog.
how many of you mama’s are pregnant or have little ones??
thank you for reading!
