4th of July – stars + stripes family looks! I absolutely love getting all dressed up and festive for holidays and July 4th is my FAVORITE! I don’t know if it’s because red, white and blue are such easy and fun colors to wear or if it’s because July is also my birth month but I have the biggest love for this holiday.
celebrating the 4th of July growing up was always so special and I want to create those same feelings of love for our country and family with my own kids. plus how cute are the girls in these pictures?! lol
totally random but when we arrived at this AMAZING painted flag wall in Corinne Utah we #thecorinneflag .. we saw that whoever was there prior to us had dropped star confetti all over the ground, so naturally we used it too! ha ha! it was so fun to have a little extra prop – so thank you for being so creative and thoughtful – so we could use it too!

I love dressing up for the 4th of July because it gives me a chance to take a look into my current wardrobe and decide if there is any that I could pair together to make my looks more ‘festive’ .. the girls’ outfits are all old, from previous years. I love the stripes and stars layered together and Laci’s little pop of red gingham makes me just so happy!
their little grins make me beam with joy! oh my goodness – they’re just SO CUTE – my heart can’t even take it! I can’t believe they’re MINE!

I own these pants in FOUR colors and I want to just keep getting more lol they’re truly so good! I wear the xs petite because I want them to hit higher at my ankles. they’re a lightweight pant material and they are great for dressing up or down, see how I’ve styled them here, here and here
like I mentioned, I LOVE looking through my closet for things that I can restyle into festive and fun 4th of July looks.
I often purchase red, white or blue pieces throughout the year and when it comes to be time for the holiday I’m having a blast piecing everything together creating the best outfits!

we had the best time doing these pictures and I’m excited to see throughout the years how we’ll celebrate together! I love the friendship that my girls have with each other and I’m just so grateful for them. I see so much of myself in them – and it’s humbling. I want to be so much for them.
