4th of July outfit inspiration (part 4)
today’s the final part of my 4th of July outfit inspiration series here on Stripes in Bloom. it’s been SO fun doing all these outfits and I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing them! I honestly don’t think I could choose a favorite – they’re all so fun and festive – which is exactly what I was aiming for with this series.

I wanted to feel confident and stylish in any outfit for the 4th, and I wanted to stretch myself and use things from my closet. I haven’t been shopping much, so only a handful of things were new – most everything I already had in my wardrobe. I challenge you to pair things in an unexpected way or re-wear pieces that you haven’t in a while. you might surprise yourself with what you can come up with!
look 10 red dress + denim
I have been hanging on to this Rachel Parcell dress for months in my closet, I bought it while I was pregnant with Laci and have been so excited for the day I could wear it!
I’m obsessed with the fit and color, and the movement! how can you not twirl in a dress like this?! the denim jacket and blue shoes were a fabulous compliment to such a bold dress.

I think it’s so fun to have at least one red dress! they’re flattering on everyone and definitely make a statement!
look 11 popsicle + classic stripe
the perfect amount of red, white and blue. jeans, a casual stripe blouse and a pop of red on the lips, toes and feet makes for an easy, festive 4th of July outfit! I LOVE this look! how cute is this for a day at the park? or a BBQ with friends?
these popsicles remind me so much of being a kid. the flavor even brings back instant memories of my childhood. it’s funny tho, they’re not as yummy as I remember them tasting lol. do you like the red/white and blue popsicles!?

I can’t get enough of this hat too! you’ll notice I’ve worn it a few times, because it’s the best summer accessory!
look 12 fireworks + stripe dress
who else loves doing sparklers? they’re so darling and fun. I’m excited this year to let my daughters hold them and enjoy their beauty!
I can’t believe this year is going by as fast as it is. I’ve got to refocus on my family and make memories with my growing babies. ‘the days are long but the years are short’ I’m learning this every. day. taking time out for my kids and my husband is going to be a focus for me moving forward. what summer plans do you have?
I’m SO happy I got this dress on! lol my husband literally had to use pliers to get the zipper up – it’s a bit snug AND it’s brand new, AND the zipper is a little ‘sticky’ and so it was a process getting in this cute lil thing! haha! SOOO worth it for these pictures tho! I’m BEYOND obsessed with it and I’m glad I was able to snag it at a Rachel Parcell sample sale last summer!

stripes like this are ALWAYS a classic, summer staple pattern and will never go out of style. they’re americana and have that coastal/ prep vibe that I love so much!
thank you so much for stopping by! I love the 4th of July! besides Christmas, it’s my favorite holiday! we are probably going to be swimming and having a BBQ with family, I might run in the 5k and we love to see the parade too! what’re your traditions for the 4th?
