faux suede skirt .. monochromatic trend
fall is my favorite time of year when it comes to fashion. the beautiful colors and rich textures come out to play in fall and I can’t get enough. today I’ll be styling a faux suede skirt in the monochromatic trend!
I’m loving suede and right now Ann Taylor has a line of faux suede items that are truly stunning. this faux suede skirt is adorable and is the perfect shade of brown for fall.
I love how I can mix and match a neutral faux suede skirt with so many things, in today’s look I played up the monochromatic trend, it’s fun to pair all the neutral shades and instead of stressing if they match completely – I love the warm browns, tone on tone together.
my sweater and boots are both from years past but I’ll link new season items that are similar and are just as beautiful.
my husband and I took these photos a few weeks ago, and I drove past this field the other day and noticed the sunflowers are starting to die, the leaves and stems aren’t very green anymore and they certainly aren’t this tall anymore. sunflowers are always the last signs of summer and with them going, I know it’ll get colder so much faster.
are you a summer or winter girl? lol fall doesn’t seem to last around here very long. I think we get a total of two weeks before we’re bundled head to toe.
what I love about a faux suede skirt like this though is it looks perfect styled with knee high boots, tights and in spring/summer, heels and wedges too.
