.pink dress … casual grunge.
to kick off something fun this week, I’m sharing this ‘casual grunge’ way to style this adorable pink tee shirt dress. this simple dress I snagged up real quick in Rachel Parcell’s launch of the RP Everyday Shop – most items sold out so fast! so I’ll try to link something similar and I do hope they restock this dress, because it’s so easy to wear and I LOVE it!
tying a plaid flannel around my waist and wearing more of a ‘sock bootie’ style really creates an edge for this otherwise very feminine shade of pink. I love how it’s a bit unexpected and I feel totally 90’s with my darker nude/berry lip too!
I love that this outfit works for maternity but honestly can be for anyone at anytime in life, and as the days get chillier it’d be adorable to wear the flannel as a shirt too (not just as an accessory around the waist π I would wear the shirt almost all the way buttoned up and then tie the ends up in a knot at my waist π creating the illusion that I’m wearing a skirt instead of a dress – that’s one of my favorite tricks to get more use out of dresses!

it’s a bit random to have a sunday post, so I hope you’re enjoying your day!
