I love wearing dresses and think they keep me much cooler than jeans and tops I have to layer with – so below you’ll find a HUGE variety of gorgeous dresses that will get you through the warm months ahead!
these pictures were actually taken back in March or April .. and here we are almost JUNE! I just didn’t know when was the right time to share them .. they seemed too happy and cheery to share when we were all at home – the world is still scary right now but I decided it is important to share the happy and bright ESPECIALLY when the world is dark. one of my favorite quotes ‘shine bright little one, the world needs your light’.
my dress is by Odd Molly and I’ve worn their cute pieces here .. they have such a unique style and I’m crushing on a few more dresses (found here and this one – they’re both stunning!)

summer is my favorite time for dresses because my style tends to lean more on the bohemian side and any of these options fit that perfectly.
just for fun I changed the wall color behind me, I loved the pop of pink in the photo and just used the ‘selective’ tool in the free Lightroom app to do it.
I have fun editing but I also love using the world around me for what it is. what’s your take on this? do you appreciate artistic abilities and using editing to create pretty pictures? or do you enhance what’s already there?
I try to keep things as natural as possible – mostly for shopping purposes – if you wanted to shop this dress for example, you’d know that it is very close to the color shown in the images. one of my pet peeves is when I’m shopping on a website and you get the item and it looks nothing like the pictures.

I’m sensing a theme with the dresses .. flowy and floral and I’m not mad about it lol I honestly already have so many dresses in my collection but there are just SO many gorgeous options out there right now. these are all affordable too which is really great!
WALMART
I’ve been seeing a lot of people talk about Walmart style lately so it got me curious and I have to say I’m genuinely SO impressed!! hats off to Walmart! I am probably going to order a few things to try because they’re so dang affordable and I think I’ll like the styles. this one has my eye
ASOS
I feel like for the past two years I’ve forgotten about ASOS, but they actually had a great selection of pretty dresses! I used to shop here a lot more but lately have been into local boutiques. ASOS is a go-to for more trendy items and I shopped them a lot for my NYFW outfits two years ago. (I can’t believe it’s been that long!)
I feel like I don’t dress as trendy anymore, but I still like looking on their site for pieces that feel more my style.
